The Inside Network was proud to host the inaugural 40 Under 40 Awards, created to put the spotlight on Australia's emerging financial professionals, those leading the industry into the future with innovation and impact.

Concluding a high-energy event in Melbourne on Wednesday, The Inside Network announced winners of the INFIN Future Financial Leaders Awards, honouring emerging leadership of Australia’s wealth management industry across 10 categories.

Winners were also announced for 40 Under 40 Awards, revealing 40 standout young professionals who represent the wealth management industry.

The 40 Under 40 Awards topped-off an outstanding INFIN Future Financial Leaders Forum, a milestone event that saw the future of the industry assemble in Melbourne to brainstorm on how best to shape the future of wealth management, through their drive, leadership and commitment to clients.

The Inside Network’s first-ever event of its kind opened with a lineup of hands-on sessions in which attendees learned how to strengthen their networking skills and put these ideas into practice.

The gathering heard how to harness the transformative power of generative AI, in ways that streamline workflows, enhance staff and client engagement and hugely improve client outcomes. In a fast-paced program, attendees pivoted to the importance of personal brand, and how best to utilise digital media to build it, and connect with clients.

Then, the event thoroughly canvassed the existential importance of genuine and real human connection — without which we do not have an industry — before moving to a close with a confronting, unflinching and deeply personal revelation of the importance of looking after our own mental health, from former AFL number 1 draft pick and 2016 Bulldogs premiership player Tom Boyd, who left the game with seemingly the world at his feet, because he realised he needed to look after his wellbeing before any other consideration.

Finally, the winners were announced for the ’40 Under 40′ Awards, revealing 40 standout young professionals who represent the wealth management industry.

The event was all about driving innovation, leadership and positive change in the wealth advice industry, and championing the young standard-bearers of this transformation. The winners were energetically received, on a balmy Melbourne night!

A huge thank you to our insiders foundation partner Colonial First State and 2025 event partner Striver.

Congratulations to all of the worthy category winners, and to those named on the inaugural 40 Under 40’ list (all pictured), which is given below.
